MacFaden Guitars Setup and Repair

Dan made me a custom guitar. Let me tell you guys, this guitar is the single most amazing instrument I have ever touched, not even mentioning the design (which is absolutely beautiful by the way). The custom designed pick guard and matching strap, the custom backplate, the pick ups, the tuners, even down to the strings and setup he put on it. This guitar plays smoother than a baby's bottom, no joke. Everything is amazing and I love this guitar!!! The decent pictures were taken at his workshop and the other ones are from after I got home btw.

Dan did a stellar job working on my Martin DRS2. When I brought the guitar in it was in desperate need of a set up, fret polish/crown work, and it had a crack that needed to be repaired. Dan sent me pictures during and after the repair process and communicated closely with me throughout the entirety of the time my guitar was with him. He sent me a detailed price breakdown via email also which was great. The actual work he completed was done to very high standards with the highest level of quality. Frets look wonderful and feel amazing and the crack itself is stabilized and cleated to where it is barley even noticeable and very robust to last for many more years of playing. He set the action exactly where it needs to be for my liking also. I have tried out many local guitar shops for repair/set up work with less than ideal results. I can unequivocally say that Dan is the best in the area in my opinion and I will certainly be utilizing him for all of my future needs.

I can't speak highly enough of my new friend Dan at MacFaden guitars. He took my old Epiphone 12 string which was unplayable, the action was so high, and made it feel like a thousand dollar guitar. His communication throughout the process, attention to detail, and high level of craftsmanship have impressed me, and I will be bringing him all of my guitar repair busniess from now on.
